Frequently Asked Questions

When are you bouncy castles available?

Castles are available seven days a week, all year round.

How do I book?

You can book by telephoning us on 01525 633331 or 07934 900068 or e-mail us at

What notice do I need to give to book?

It’s best to book as early as possible to guarantee getting the castle you want and the delivery and collection times. If another company lets you down on the day of hire, you can try booking last minute and if we have anything available we’ll do our best to fit you in.

Do you need a deposit and how do I make payment?

No deposit is required upon booking. Full payment is to be made in cash on delivery. Unfortunately due to a number of returned cheques we are no longer able to accept this as a method of payment.

Do you deliver, set-up, dismantle and collect the castles?

Yes, it’s all included in the price.

How safe are your inflatables?

To us, safety is paramount. All of our units are made by leading British manufacturers, tested annually and conform to PIPA and RPII standards. Certificates are available upon request.

All off our castles are cleaned before every hire, regularly serviced and comply with UK Health & Safety regulations. All electric cables are fitted with water proof connectors.

We don’t hurry when setting up – all points are pegged down, cables stowed away to minimise trip hazards and enough safety mats supplied to cater for any unexpected tumbles. A full briefing is also given to ensure you are completely at ease should any unlikely problems arise.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. We have Public Liability of £5 Million.

Please note, PLI covers you (the hirer) for damage, loss, or injuries incurred to you or your property / venue, which are caused by incorrectly assembled equipment or faulty equipment provided by the bouncy castle operator. It does not cover you (the hirer) for damage, loss or injuries incurred by misuse of the inflatable or if you change / move / rearrange any part of the equipment after the delivery and company set up.

A copy of our insurance certificate is available upon request.

How long does it take to set up?

Setting up and dismantling takes about 15-20 minutes, sometimes quicker depending on the ease of access to the site. We will answer any questions and give you a full description of how to use the castles safely and how to combat any problems (in the unlikely event that they do arise).

You will also have to read and sign a hire agreement indicating that you fully understand your responsibilities whilst the hire unit is in your care. E.g. Full supervision, no acrobatics, number of children recommended on the inflatable at any one-time, age limits etc.

How long do I get the castle for?

You can order the inflatable for a few hours or you can keep it all day, the price remains the same at the daily rate. The reason for this is because the workload for us is the same. Overnight hire can be arranged at a charge of £20. Garden must be secure if leaving overnight. Inflatables hired indoors have priority when it comes to delivery and collection times. This is due to strict time keeping policies that tends to come with hall hire.

What preparation is needed before your arrive?

Please make sure that side passages, or any other access to your garden/venue are clear of obstacles etc. We require a minimum 3 foot width access depending on the size of the unit hired. Ensure that the area where the castle is to be sited is free of any sharp objects, excessive mug and dog mess. We will need access to an electricity power point within 25 metres or we can hire you a petrol generator for an additional £25 charge. If the driver is caused to wait while you prepare the site, you may be charged a waiting fee.

What sort of surface do you need for the castle?

Castle situated outdoors need to be on a reasonably flat grassy area so that they can be staked down. The area needs to be completely free of any sharp stones, objects, dog mess etc.

To comply with health and safety legislation and for the safety of the children using the castle we will not set up a castle outside on hard standing. This is because we can not secure the castle properly to meet new health and safety guidelines.

Indoors – we can provide more safety mats and use sandbags to secure the unit where pegs cannot be used.

If you are unsure we may be able to visit the site to assess its suitability. We do this free of charge although we can’t always guarantee to be able to sustain this service – especially during busy periods.

Are your castles suitable for indoor use?

All of our units are suitable for indoor hire but obviously this depends of your venue. Please take into account ceiling height as well as the width and length of the hall.

What happens if it rains on the day of a hire?

Most of our inflatables have sewn in shower covers so will stay dry in a light shower. However in heavy rain the castle will become wet and it is advised that the castle is not used as the castle becomes very slippery. Castles can be towel dried once the rain has stopped. If you decide you would like to cancel your booking due to the weather then please let us know as soon as possible, preferably before 8am on the day of hire. You will not be charged for making this decision. It may also be necessary for us to cancel for the sake of safety in extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain or high winds. We will always supply a castle wherever possible.

How much does the castle cost for me to run?

The average cost to run a bouncy castle for about an 8 hour period is between £1.50 – £2.00.

How many children are allowed on the inflatable at a time?

It all depends on the age and size of the children and what castle size you are hiring. As a general rule there should be enough space for each child to jump safely with enough room as not to bounce into others or fall off the unit itself. A responsible adult should always supervise and common sense must prevail.

What happens if a problem arises during the hire period?

It is very rare that a problem arises that cannot be dealt with by the hirer. But in the unlikely event one should arise please contact us on either 01525 633331/07934 900068 at any time and we’ll be round ASAP to sort it out.

Can i rely on you?

We have kids and wouldn’t want to let them down and so we won’t let yours down. Also, service and reputation is everything. Most of our bookings come from word of mouth. Please be aware that if we think the area wouldn’t be safe enough to put a castle up for my children we will not erect one and give you all the reasons why.

Adults are not allowed on the children's inflatable. Nor are pets, silly string, party poppers or chewing gum. Any damage caused to any of the equipment whilst in your care shall be charged accordingly.

If you have any other questions, please contact us. We are here to help you.
